Clark Sorrells served as Minister of Music at First Baptist Church of Asheville for 25 years. While his duties primarily included conducting three choirs, orchestra, and other ensembles at the church, Clark has given private piano and voice instruction for over 30 years.

He is an accomplished performer in both disciplines as well as a published composer of solo piano and choral works.

Clark holds a Bachelor of Music from Carson Newman University, Jefferson City, Tennessee, and a Master of Music from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisville, Kentucky.
