Service Project – Spring 2019

AFTA strives to be involved in the community beyond our four walls by helping other organizations in the Asheville area. This spring, we are collecting items through March on behalf of The Hope Chest for Women for their Chemo Care Bags. Suggested donation items are below.

The Hope Chest for Women, Inc. was founded in 2003 to relieve some of the financial burdens created by breast or gynecological cancer treatment costs. The Hope Chest provide resources, referrals, education on cancer prevention, community and financial support.  Most importantly, they give hope to women in Western North Carolina living with breast or gynecological issues.
